It's not official yet, but the numbers are emerging, and they look staggering -- for this team. According to Sweden's Sport Bladet, RBNY is going to pay Leipzig "just over" 50 million Swedish kroner for Emil Forsberg. As that number works out to $4.9 million, it looks like the transfer fee will be $5.0 USD, the third highest in club history behind Alejandro Romero Gamarra and Dante Vanzeir.

The more astonishing number is Forsberg's supposed salary, which is supposed to be 60 million kroner, or $5.89 million per year. Vanzeir was Metro's highest-paid player last year, making "just" 1.5 million. The all-time salary record is Thierry Henry's $5.6 million in 2011 and 2012.

Let's hope Forsberg is worth it!
