Gerüchte um Sandro Schwarz
November 16, 2023

Could the new head coach be lined up already? And where else could he come from... Germany. According to our old friends at Bild, former Hertha Berlin manager Sandro Schwarz "is said to have already reached an agreement with the New York Red Bulls".

Schwarz, 45, was a defensive midfielder for Mainz 05, where he was teammates and friends, and then played under Liverpool head man Jurgen Klopp. He made his coaching name with Mainz as well, before moving to Dynamo Moscow in 2020, not leaving until losing the Cup final in May of 2022. (By then, Russia was three months deep into its war in Ukraine.) Schwarz went back to Germany, coaching Hertha in the Bundesliga to a last-place finish, before getting fired in April.

Stay tuned... err... Bleiben Sie dran?
