The scoring started in the 70th minute, when midfielder Ibrahim Kasule drew a penalty and converted it himself to give New York the lead.
Crown Legacy FC leveled the match in the tenth minute of stoppage time as Vinivius Mello tapped in a goal to send the match to a shootout.
Crown Legacy FC topped New York in the shootout, winning 6-5 over eight rounds.
