Romero Gamara saga takes another twist
January 31, 2018
The saga of Alejandro Romero Gamarra's transfer to Metro has taken yet another twist. Two days after Huracan president said the deal is "not going to be carried out", news have emerged that it might be back on.
Argentina's Don Balon is reporting that the "novel" is in its "decisive stage". Huracan and RBNY representatives are meeting "to try to close the operation once and for all".
Huracan VP Hernan Alvarez has assured that "everything is resolved in the next 48 hours". "At this moment, the transfer is locked," he is quoted, "but we are sure that it will happen, because there is a good disposition from all parties. We hope that the meeting will resolve the economic differences and that the sale could be made, which would mean an income very important for the club."
The transfer is reported to be for $5 million, the largest in Huracan history.
