Terrence Boyd to taste corporate syngery?
December 12, 2016
Could another loan from a Red Bull club be in the cards? According to Taylor Twellman, "Terrence Boyd is looking to be going on loan with New York Red Bulls for the 2017 MLS season. Took a tour of the facilities last week."
Boyd, a German-born US international forward, has been with RB Leipzig since 2014, but has missed large chunks of time due to an ACL tear. This season, he as only featured for the reserve team.
The 25-year-old has been capped 14 times for the US. He has played for the reserve teams of Hertha and Borussia Dortmund, as well as for Rapid Vienna in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Update: FOX's Julie Stewart-Binks tweeted that "RBNY source tells me highly, highly unlikely Terrence Boyd comes to club on loan. RBNY source confirms report that Boyd interested, but has options he's evaluating. Cash would be key in deal for club."
