September 10, 2016 (Official Game Summary)
2016 USL Regular Season Champions New York Red Bulls II salvaged a point in the final minutes against Rochester Rhinos, 1-1. Vincent Bezecourt's 89th minute free kick goal leveled the match to give New York the road point. The draw improves New York to 19-3-6 on the season and a league-record 63 points, which broke Orlando City SC's 2014 mark of 62 points.
Following a scoreless first half, Rochester broke the deadlock in the 58th minute thanks to Asani Samuels. The Rhinos' goal ended a span of 688 consecutive minutes that NYRB II has not trailed in a match.
It appeared as if Rochester would break up New York's impressive road form, until Bezecourt stepped up and buried a 25-yard free kick into the top-left corner of the goal to tie game in the 89th minute. The goal is his fifth of the season and third in two matches.
