Four academy products to be signed?
December 18, 2015

According to Goal.com, RBNY has completed the signing of four homegrown products. The quartet is: midfielder Derrick Etienne of Virginia, forwards Brandon Allen and Alex Muyl of Georgetown, and midfielder Mael Corboz of Maryland.

All four players have been in the RBNY academy for a long time, and have featured for either the reserves or RBNY II through the last few seasons (Allen in 2011, Corboz in 2012, Muyl in 2013, Etienne in 2014 and 2015).

Allen, a Hermann Trophy finalist, has long been rumored to be considering declining a homegrown deal to pursue various options. He left the academy recently and would have to have filled minimum training requirements in order to be eligible for a homegrown contract.
