Castano, Cardona on trial in Austria

Two RBNY goalkeepers are on trial at a club in Austria, but it's not as straightforward as one might think. The goalkeepers are Santiago Castano and Keith Cardona. The club is FC Liefering, which reported the trial on its official website.
Castano, who was signed out of the academy prior to the 2013 season, is yet to play a first team minute. Cardona, another academy product, is still attending the University of Maryland, so he is still an amateur and not officially a RBNY player.
Liefering is Red Bull Salzburg's farm team and competes in Austria's second division. In their most recent friendly, they beat SV Scholz Grodig 5:0, with Cardona starting in goal and Castano coming in at halftime.
