Roy Miller plays at the World Cup
June 24, 2014

Rejoice, Metro brethren! If you were afraid that Roy Miller will get the Andrew Boyens treatment and sit out the entire World Cup, fear no longer! The once-maligned Metro left back finally appeared for Costa Rica, starting and playing the full match against England.

The game, rather meaningless for both sides, ended 0:0. The surprising Ticos topped the group, and Miller gets to add his name to a rather exclusive list. Tab Ramos, Marcelo Vega, Clint Mathis, Tim Cahill, and now Roy Miller. The five current Metros to play at the World Cup.

Do we really have to count Vega?
