According to Diario Cordoba, RBNY has made an offer to Armando Lozano. The 29-year-old defender is currently with Cordoba in the Spanish second division.

Lozano has spent time with various lesser teams in Spain, including logging three years on Barcelona's B team. He also had a short stint in Mexico with Veracruz. He has only played in eight matches this year. It looks like Lozano is able to play both the left and central back positions.

The NY Post reports, "there may be legs to this talk of the Red Bulls making an offer to Spanish defender Armando Lozano."

Update: Diario Cordoba reports that Lozano tore up his contract and is set to sign a two-year deal with RBNY.
