Torsten Frings: "NY is my dream city"

To most American soccer fans, Torsten Frings is known as a thuggish German whose unseen handball denied the US in the quarterfinals of the 2002 World Cup. But add the midfielder to the list of international players who proclaim their love for the US and New York specifically.

"I am fan of America, and New York is my dream city," Frings told Welt Online when asked about a move abroad.

Well then, terrific! Not sure how he fits in with Rafael Marquez on board... Oh, wait, he doesn't. It's nice to dream, though, Torsten. It's nice to dream...
