Rookies signed, Laventure released

While it has not been announced officially yet, RBNY has signed Colombian striker Oscar Echeverry, who has been with the team for over a month. Also signed were draft picks defender Eric Brunner, midfielder/defender Luke Sassano, midfielder David Roth, and midfielder Michael Palacio, as well as undrafted rookie forwards Ricky Schramm and Chris Megaloudis.
Also, Jerrod Laventure has not been re-signed. The recent cap for Haiti spent two years with Metro, scoring one goal, on a terrific volley against Columbus in 2006. He also recorded the first (and, so far, only) hat-trick for the Metro reserves, doing so against Dallas in 2007.
