Preseason ends with 6:0 trashing by San Diego

Metro ended its preseason and its 2025 Coachella Valley Invitational by getting trashed by Whale's Vagina San Diego, 6:0 in the first ever meeting between the two sides. The expansion team scored early and often, as RBNY suffered its worst preseason defeat in history.
Previously, the worst preseason loss came in the 2022 Coachella finale, when RBNY was spanked by LAFC, 6:1. Metro then went on to win its first two regular season matches, both on the road, by multiple goals.
