Year 23 was pretty weird, wasn't it? A great start, a complete slog of a summer, and then -- somehow -- the best playoff run in team history. What will year 24 bring?

Year 24, because this little website started on February 4, 2001. So, as always on this date, we enshrine a new member into the MetroFanatic Hall of Fame... And the inductee should be obvious. Dax McCarty, who has finally retired as a player, is an absolute no-brainer. A member of our all-time Best XI, winner of two Shields, captain, still third all-time in minutes played, beloved Ginger Ninja.
