Well, the rumor mill has started spinning faster in a hurry. Today, according to the Stoke Sentinel, Metro is linked with right back Tom Edwards, who spent the season so far on loan to Fleetwood Town of League One. But Stoke has recalled him, apparently to loan him again, this time in a "dream move" to RBNY. Their words, not ours.

Edwards made his Premiership debut as an 18-year-old back in 2017, but his last top-flight appearance came on January 1st of the following year. Since then, Stoke dropped to the Championship, and Edwards played sporadically until this year's loan do a division lower.

Hopefully, Kevin Thelwell realizes that it's left back, not right back, that is Metro's problem area...
