Metro does not win Mobile Mini Sun Cup

Metro's hopes of winning the Mobile Mini Sun Cup were dashed, as they lost to Dallas in the ultimate game, 2:1. Once again, Metro used a team for backups, reserves, trialists, and academy players.
Chris Lema got New York on the board in the 22nd with a blast from the edge of the box. Dallas responded from the penalty spot in the 34th and won it in the 77th.
Most importantly, the lack of goals meant that Bradley Wright-Phillips claimed the preseason scoring championship for the record-extending fifth time.
