Tyler Adams scored his first ever international goal, as the United States beat Mexico, 1:0. The goal came in the 71st minute, as Adams made a run from midfield and blasted a shot from the center of the box. Mexico had gone down to 10 men four minutes earlier. Adams added his name to the exclusive list of Metro players who scored for USA during their stint with the team.

Tim Parker and Aaron Long did not play for the US.
