Kaku is now officially a Paraguayan. Alejandro Romero Gamarra made his national team debut for his adopted country, appearing off the bench in a 4:2 loss to Japan in Vienna. Kaku was subbed on in the 59th minute. He was previously capped for native Argentina on the youth level, appearing at the 2015 U-20 World Cup.
