Amando Moreno moves down to RBNY II
March 16, 2018 (Official Press Release)

New York Red Bulls II have signed Red Bulls academy product Amando Moreno to a USL contract, the club announced today. Moreno signs with NYRB II after being waived by the New York Red Bulls.

Moreno, 22, signed with the Red Bulls in January after spending four years in Mexico, appearing in 20 matches and recording three goals and one assist. The Perth Amboy, New Jersey, native was loaned to Dorados de Sinaloa in July of 2017, appearing in five matches and tallying one goal.

Moreno signed his first professional contract with the Red Bulls ahead of the 2013 season, and was part of the team that won the Supporters' Shield that year. He made his MLS debut on March 10 in a match at San Jose. Moreno earned a call up to a U.S. Men's Senior National Team camp in May of 2016 under Jurgen Klinsmann, but has not appeared for the senior team.
