Felipe not on the gameday roster

Since Felipe joined Metro prior to the 2015 season, the club has played 128 competitive games. Felipe started 123 and appeared off the bench in two (both int the Open Cup). He missed only three matches: in 2016, when he was suspended for a red, and an Open Cup game in Rochester; in 2017, and the meaningless regular-season finale.

So it comes as a huge surprise that the stalwart has not been named to the gameday 18 for Metro's CCL eighth-final vs Olimpia. A surprise, until you read the speculation that the potential trade for Vancouver's Tim Parker is picking up steam. Kristian Dyer is reporting that "per multiple league sources, RBNY is currently in trade talks with Vancouver involving Felipe and allocation money for Tim Parker. No deal is done yet but discussions are ongoing."

Metro's initial interest in Parker was reported a week ago by Steven Goff. Felipe was mentioned in his original report, only to be replaced by allocation money. Well, it now looks that it might be both...
