Metro interested in Tim Parker?
February 19, 2018
According to venerated reporter Steven Goff of the Washington Post, RBNY might be after Vancouver defender Tim Parker. Goff initially reported that Felipe(!) would be going to Canada, but now altered his reporting to say that allocation money would be sent.
Goff reports that Parker is "looking for a big raise after sitting at about $100,000 last year". Metro, in theory, should be awash with allocation money, and could use a quality central defender after failing to acquire one this offseason. Parker, who hails from Long Island, played college soccer at nearby St. John's.
Update: according to Kristian Dyer, Vancouver's asking price is "roughly $1 million in allocation money and an international slot".
