New York Red Bulls II earned a hard-fought road point at Ottawa Fury FC, ending in a 2-2 draw on Sunday at TD Place.

Ottawa opened the scoring in the 21st minute off a Steevan Dos Santos volley off a throw-in.

New York responded shortly thereafter in the 32nd minute with a Florian Valot set piece goal, his second of the year, to knot the game at one apiece.

NYRB II started the second half on the right foot pressuring Ottawa into conceding a number of New York chances in the offensive end of the pitch. NYRB II capitalized on one in the 78th minute off a counterattack with Andrew Tinari putting his final touch past a diving Callum Irving to give New York a 2-1 lead. The goal was Tinari's first professional career goal for NYRB II.

Deep into stoppage time, Ramon Del Campo equalized off an Evan Louro rebound to level the game, 2-2, and end the match with that score.
