New York Red Bulls II played Harrisburg City Islanders to a 2-0 loss at FNB Field Wednesday night. Playing their second game in three nights took a toll on New York's legs as they also played with a shortened bench.
Harrisburg opened the scoring with two first half goals, scored by James Thomas and Paul Wilson in the 20th and 41st minutes respectively.
Rafael Diaz totaled a season-high six saves on the evening to keep the match close.
Red Bulls U-18 player Zaire Bartley made his NYRB II debut in the 78th minute as he came on as a substitute for David Najem.
