The d-mid in question is Alejandro Bernal of Atletico Nacional. The rumor is reported by Futbol Red, who claim that "approach from New York Red Bulls" has been "initiated".

Bernal, 28, was coached at Nacional by our old friend, Juan Carlos Osorio, starting with the club in 2012. There, he was teammates with Juan Pablo Angel. Bernal had previously played for Deportivo Cali and Santa Fe.
