Sacha Kljestan scores for USA
September 2, 2016

It might have taken an injury for Sacha Kljestan to be called up to the US national team, but, hopefully, today's performance will show the stubbornly idiotic Jurgen Klinsmann what he is missing. Yes, the opponent was St. Vincent and the Grenadines, but in his brief appearance, Kljestan clearly showed the creativity and touch shared by very few of his teammates.

Kljestan entered the game in the 66th minute, and immediately paid dividends, setting up Christian Pulisic with a perfect touch four minutes later. In the 78th, Sacha himself finished a play, connecting from short range. It was his first goal for USA since 2010. Then, in injury time, Kljestan set up Pulisic again. The US won 6:0.

Wake up and smell the coffee, Jurgen. The answer to US's creative problems has been under your nose the whole time. Get your head out of your behind and play him.
