The MLS Disciplinary Committee announced on Thursday that Red Bulls forward Peguy Luyindula has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount for a serious foul play which endangered the safety of an opponent in the 73rd minute of the Red Bulls' 1-0 win over Houston on October 4. Luyindula brought Houston's Luis Garrido down with a scissor tackle on the play in question.

The suspension means the Red Bulls will be without Luyindula for Saturday's game against Toronto FC at Red Bull Arena.
