Xavi rumors return
July 16, 2014

Back in January, the Xavi rumors were abuzz. The Barcelona midfielder was "dizzy to take it to MLS", specifically RBNY. Then, he supposedly signed in Qatar, and it all became moot.

Now, with the World Cup over and the Qatar deal supposedly dead, the rumors are back. In fact, during the World Cup final, Univision commentators said that he all but signed with RBNY. There are also reports out of Spain that he is bound for the expansion team, NYCFC. Finally, a recent article on Marca, Spain's leading sports daily, says that he is choosing between RBNY, NYCFC, and Seattle.

We're dizzy from all of this.

Update: according to France's L'Equipe, two MLS teams (RBNY and Seattle) have offered Xavi a contract.
