RBNY academy product Keith Cardona, who spent the last three seasons at the University of Maryland, has signed his first professional contract. It's with FC Liefering, Red Bull Salzburg's reserve team that plays in Austria's second division.

Cardona recently joined fellow goalkeeper (and academy graduate Santiago Castano) on trial with the club. He was part of the US national team that took part in the 2009 FIFA Under-17 World Cup.
