Jan Gunnar Solli, dumped in the offseason purge, has returned to his native Norway. The defender/midfielder has officially signed with Valerenga, after spending last month on trial with the club. The club, based in Olso, won the Norwegian championship five times, the last in 2005. They won La Manga Cup in 2007.

"I feel comfortable at right back after playing that position a lot in the US," said Solli.
