Paulo Sousa turns down, new candidates emerge?
January 22, 2013

So much for Paulo Sousa? According to O Jogo, the manager has turned down RBNY. The Portuguese website reports that the club could not meet his conditions.

BigAppleSoccer reports that the search is down to three candidates: two European and one American. The latter is supposed to be Eric Wynalda; one of the Europeans is Paul Lambert.

Lambert, a former Scottish international, is currently in charge of free-falling Aston Villa.
