Gary McAllister to be named head coach?
January 2, 2013

The long wait could be over. Gary McAllister is set to be named Metro head coach this week, reports BigAppleSoccer.

The website reports that the club finally met demands for McAllister's salary, believed to be "under $2 million".

However, MLSsoccer.com has rebuffed the claim. The league's official site says that "the club has not extended an offer to McAllister" and is "not expected to make an announcement about the coaching search this week".
