French press: Peguy Luyindula to sign
December 17, 2012
When new signing Juninho played at Lyon, one of his teammates was forward Peguy Luyindula. The Congo-born Frenchman, 33, spent two years at the club in the early 2000s, but has been at Paris Saint-Germain since 2007. That stay will end now, if Le Parisien is to be believed. According to the French paper, Luyindula will join his friend Thierry Henry at RBNY, signing a "two or three year contract".
Luyindula's career started in 1997 in Niort, before moving to Strasbourg, Lyon, Marseille, Auxerre, Levante, and PSG. He has scored one goal in six caps for France, the last coming in 2009.
