Could Rafa Marquez be Leon bound?
December 10, 2012

As the offseason started, there have been rumblings that Rafa Marquez wants to go on loan to his first team, Atlas. Well, now another suitor looks to have emerged, and its interest just might be a tad more serious. Criterio Hidalgo reports that Club Leon is interested in acquiring the cologne peddler. "According to various reports, negotiations between Leon and Rafael Marquez are very advanced," the website writes.

ESPN Deportes confirms the interest, saying that "the negotiations are going well". More importantly, the deal could be not a loan, but a permanent move, meaning the quasi-defender would be leaving Metro forever.

Please, please, please let it be true. Please?
