Kaka! No, not the sound a toddler makes when he or she wants to go potty. The accent is on the last syllable, as in Kaka, the Brazilian superstar all of the sudden rumored to join RBNY. Oh, the puns! Oh, the puns...
Kaka is under contract with Real Madrid but looks to move on. Yesterday, his agent said that the player "has a dream to live in US and play in MLS" and "if [it] isn't now, [then] in the future probably he will join MLS." And today, Kaka is spotted at the NBA Final game in Miami, and the rumors start swirling. MLS analyst and former player Kyle Marino tweets, "The New York Red Bulls are the latest team to try and pluck a player from the MLS most wanted list", following it up with "Just heard a little birdie go 'Ka....ka'". Oh, the puns!
Kaka started his career at Sao Paulo and spent six seasons at Milan before moving to Real in 2009. He has 27 goals in 82 caps for Brazil and was part of their 2002 World Cup winning team. His favorite book is the Bible.
