The notoriously finicky Italian press has linked Paolo Maldini to RBNY. According to SerieACalcio.com, the former AC Milan captain has "reached an agreement in principle with the New York Red Bulls". Maldini, a one-club man throughout his illustrious career, has been retired since last May. He is 41 years old and has been linked to Metro on numerous occasions before.
