The starting right back in Metro's preseason game versus Stromsgodset was Finn Toni Kolehmainen. The 21-year-old one-time "wonderkind" has been on the books of Blackburn Rovers in England and AZ in the Netherlands before coming back to his home country and AC Oulu. The Finnish youth international started five matches last year.

Also on trial is RBNY Academy product John Agudelo. The US youth international joined the club after spending time in Colombia with Millonarios and is said to be choosing between the two clubs.
