The Red Bulls have signed goalkeeper Caleb Patterson-Sewell after receiving League approval for a case of extreme hardship. He will be available for the Red Bulls' Wednesday match against Real Salt Lake at 10:00 PM. Patterson-Sewell was added, as goalkeeper Bouna Coundoul is with the Senegalese National Team for their friendly against South Korea Wednesday.

Patterson-Sewell was a Red Bull in 2008, but did not see any first team action. This season, he joined USL-1 side, the Carolina RailHawks, where he started in 15 games and posted 10 shutouts and a 0.533 goals against average.
