What will be Juan Carlos Osorio's excuse after tonight's 2:0 loss to Toronto? Will he once again point the fingers at the players? Will he say that New York played well in parts of the game and deserved better? Will he mention his suspended central defense? Or his injured forward tandem? Will he once again say the team needs a psychiatrist? Will he point to the miraculous MLS Cup run (losing run! he never mentions the losing!) of last year?

Who cares. It doesn't matter. The excuses are irrelevant. The fault lies with one man and one man only: Juan Carlos Osorio. It's his team, it's his tactics, it's his players. It's his fecal, fecal team, it's his fecal, fecal tactics, and his fecal, fecal players.

The fecal lineup saw Andrew Boyens come in for the suspended Kevin Goldthwaite, Luke Sassano starting for the injured Albert Celades, and John Wolyniec for the hurt Mac Kandji.

Toronto's first goal came in the 28th, when a failed clearance led to the ball being chipped over the Metro defense, and an unmarked Pablo Vitti heading it over Danny Cepero, who hesitated to come out. The second came in the 59th, when Dwayne De Rosario got behind the sleeping Metro defense, and chipped the ball over Cepero.

Metro chances? Were there any? Not really. When one team boasts the midfield of De Rosario and Amado Guevara, and the other of Jorge Rojas, a rookie, and two defensive mids, what does one expect?

A loss. Another fecal loss for this fecal team and its fecal coach.

Lineup: Cepero, Pacheco, Boyens, Mendes, Hall, Stammler, Sassano, Rojas, Zimmerman, Wolyniec, Angel. Subs: Richards, Ubiparipovic, Smith.
