According to Portugal's Jornal Record, Metro could be in the hunt for Portuguese international striker Joao Pinto (not to be confused with Portuguese international defender Joao Pinto). The website claims that he has been in talks with RBNY.

Joao Pinto was last at Braga, but made his name at two of the country's biggest clubs, Benfica in Sporting. He scored 32 goals in 81 caps for Portugal, and was participated at Euro 96, Euro 2000, and the 2002 World Cup (where he started in the glorious 3:2 defeat to the USA).
