Three defenders cut
June 28, 2007 (Official Press Release)

Red Bull New York announced today that it has waived defenders Taylor Graham, Tim Regan and Hugh MacDonald.

Graham had featured in five games this season for the Red Bulls, starting in three and earning one assist. The defender's rights were initially acquired on November 21, 2005 from Kansas City in exchange for New York's third round pick in the 2006 MLS SuperDraft. Last season, he played in 10 games and had six starts.

Regan was acquired in a trade from Toronto FC in exchange for Edson Buddle for his second go-around with New York on November 22, 2006. He played in three matches this season, starting in two. Prior to joining the Red Bulls, Regan was with Chivas USA in 2006, before being taken by Toronto FC in the MLS Expansion Draft.

MacDonald was signed by the Red Bulls on March 9 after joining the team as a trialist for preseason camp. The Kearny, NJ native made four appearances for the Red Bulls reserve team, playing the full 90 minutes in each match.
