Metro "B" ties Rhinos in a friendly, 1:1

Rochester Raging Rhinos forward Greg Howes scored a goal in the 80th minute to match MetroStars defender Danilo da Silva's goal in the 20th to end the MetroStars and Rhinos' friendly in a 1-1 draw at Frontier Field Monday night in front of a crowd of 7,950. This was the sixth match the MetroStars have played against the USL First Division Rhinos.
The MetroStars struck first as da Silva headed a cross from forward Mike Magee past Rhinos' goalkeeper Dusty Hudock. The Metros maintained the 1-0 lead for the remainder of the first half.
However, with only 10 minutes left in the game, the Rhinos equalized after Howes netted a header past MetroStars goalkeeper Mike Ueltschey from about seven yards out. Howes' goal came off a cross from midfielder Stoian Mladenov.
