Playing without most of their stars, the MetroStars lost a completely pointless friendly to Rochester, 3:1. Mike Magee had the lone Metro goal, and Kenny Arena provided help for the Rhinos, scoring into his own net. Nate Kaczanowski and Kirk Wilson had the other Rochester goals.
